I am hearing quit a bit about "the threat" and my question is...why are we not figuring out ways to stop it?
There must be things in the Islamic community that would render a person persona-nongrata to Allah.
If for instance, pork blood touches the lips of a Muslem...they will never see Allah??? (verify)
Does this hold true even after they are involved in a bombing?  If it does, we could use this to discourage any bombing.
They use our laws...why are we not using theirs?

Textbooks 'whitewashing' Islamic extremism

Islamic crescent symbol smallAmid concerns that history textbooks are downplaying the important role of Christianity in America's founding comes a report that Islam extremism is being treated with kid gloves in some of those textbooks.

Christian historian David Barton, founder and president of WallBuilders, has for years advised parents to examine their children's school textbooks. "Always remember that your children do not know as much about history as you do -- and consequently have no basis for identifying bias," Barton says on his website.

No doubt he would caution parents if their children's classroom were using World History: The Modern World (Prentice Hall) -- a textbook that the director of The American Textbook Council points out as one example in an educational trend that presents a biased view of Islam and a sugarcoated picture of Islamic extremism.

In his report "Islam in the Classroom: What the textbooks tell us" [PDF] Gilbert T. Sewall says he finds "uniquely disturbing" what he perceives as deficiencies in Islam-related lessons.

"[K]ey subjects like jihad, Islamic law, [and] the status of women are whitewashed," Sewall tells Fox News -- a treatment he attributes to pressure from Islamic activists on publishers to downplay Islamic terrorism and shine a favorable light on the religion. "The picture is incomplete...and the reason for this is that publishers are afraid of the Islamic activists. They don't want trouble."

stack of booksIn his review process, Sewall asked questions such as "What do textbooks say about terrorism?" and "What do they say about the September 11 air attack on the United States?"

According to Fox News, Sewall discovered that Prentice Hall's The Modern World omits direct mention of the 9/11 hijackers' religion, instead referring to them as "teams of terrorists."

"In terms of content [about the historic attacks], so much is left unanswered," he tells Fox News. "Who were the teams of terrorists and what did they want to do? What were their political ends?" And with such questions unanswered, he says it is hard to understand why the attacks took place.

Another question he asked: "Do [textbooks] describe and explain looming dangers to the United States and world?" The textbook History Alive! The Medieval World and Beyond (Teachers Curriculum Institute), he says, glosses over the violent aspects of Islamic jihad.

That textbook states that "Jihad is defined as a struggle within each individual to overcome difficulties and strive to please god. Sometimes it may be a physical struggle for protection against enemies."

Story concludes below ...

Why do you think textbook publishers aren't addressing

the terrorist-related aspects of Islam?

In his conclusions, Sewall states: "Deficiencies about Islam in textbooks copyrighted before 2001 persist and in some cases have grown worse. Textbook coverage of jihad and sharia are cases in point. Instead of making corrections or acknowledging contested facts, publishers and their editors defend misinformation and content evasions against the record. Bias persists. Silences are profound and intentional."

What if the Muslims win the 3rd World War (their Global Jihad)?

Before we get down to this subject let us make it clear that we are opposed to all forms of fanaticism - religious or otherwise. While all fanaticism is negative; fanaticism that is based on religion is the most virulent and among the fanatics of various religions, the Muslims are the most violent and cruel.

The impelling reason to focus on Muslims is that they are psychologically the most organized worldwide into one community 'Ummah'. Again it is they who are day-by-day becoming a threat to world peace. Hence we look at the scenario in the event of the remote possibility of an Islamic victory over the rest of the world in an unfortunate but probable Third World War.

In this scenario people all across the world would be given a choice of submitting to Islam or be treated as second class citizens (by wearing a badge to identify themselves as non-Muslims as is being done today in that "ideal" Islamic society of Taliban ruled Afghanistan). In addition they would have to pay the penal tax (Jaziya) to the Muslim rulers. The honour of their womenfolk would always be in danger of being violated by the Mujahideen and Ghazis (Islamic warriors). The lives of non-Muslims would always be in peril and at the mercy of the whims of the Muslim rulers, who would have a perpetual and perennial hatred of the non-Muslims.

In addition to this day-to-day real-life scenario, in the regular cases of the waves of more acute fanaticism that would sweep the world ruled only by Muslims; the non-Muslims would be given the choice of embracing Islam or be killed by the more zealous among the fanatical Muslim rulers of the globe.

THE STORY OF THE FROG IN THE WARMING POT... NOT THE BOILING ONE

Subject: THE STORY OF THE FROG IN THE WARMING POT... NOT THE BOILING ONE

A Page From History

Norman Mattoon Thomas (November 20, 1884 to December
19, 1968) was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential
candidate for the Socialist Party of America.

The Socialist Party candidate for President of the U..S.,

Norman Thomas, said this in a 1944 speech:

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism.

But, under the name of "liberalism," they will adopt every
fragment of the socialist program, until one day  America will be
a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

He went on to say:

"I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist
Party.  The Democrat Party has adopted our platform."

"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money."
~~Margaret Thatcher~~

Fw: The Obamanable Stimulus Bill Explained

Shortly after class, an economics student approaches his economics professor and says, "I don't understand this stimulus bill. Can you explain it to me?"
The professor replied, "I don't have any time to explain it at my office, but if you come over to my house on Saturday and help me with my weekend project, I'll be glad to explain it to you." The student agreed.
At the agreed-upon time, the student showed up at the professor's house. The professor stated that the weekend project involved his backyard pool.
They both went out back to the pool, and the professor handed the student a bucket. Demonstrating with his own bucket, the professor said, "First, go over to the deep end, and fill your bucket with as much water as you can." The student did as he was instructed.
The professor then continued, "Follow me over to the shallow end, and then dump all the water from your bucket into it." The student was naturally confused, but did as he was told.
The professor then explained they were going to do this many more times, and began walking back to the deep end of the pool.
The confused student asked, "Excuse me, but why are we doing this?" The professor matter-of-factly stated that he was trying to make the shallow end much deeper.
The student didn't think the economics professor was serious, but figured that he would find out the real story soon enough.
However, after the 6th trip between the shallow end and the deep end, the student began to become worried that his economics professor had gone mad. The student finally replied, "All we're doing is wasting valuable time and effort on unproductive pursuits. Even worse, when this process is all over, everything will be at the same level it was before, so all you'll really have accomplished is the appearance of doing something when all we did was the destruction of what could have been truly productive action!"
The professor put down his bucket and replied with a smile, "Congratulations. You now understand the stimulus bill."

My Friend is a Muslim and He's Really Nice

Posted: 25 Jan 2009 01:10 PM CST

SOMETIMES WHEN you're talking about Islam, someone will tell you something like this: "My cousin is married to a Muslim man and he's a really great guy." And they will say it like that's the end of the argument. They pronounce it as if their statement obviously cancels and disproves everything you've said about Islam. Here are some possible responses:

1. I can see that you are defending your friend, so let me be clear that I'm not attacking your friend or anyone who calls himself a Muslim. I'm talking about Islamic doctrine. I'm talking about what a devout Muslim is supposed to do, according to Mohammad, and what millions of Muslims in fact do.

2. Is he a practicing Muslim or a Muslim in name only? If he is a practicing Muslim, jihad is obligatory. But keep in mind, jihad means struggling toward the political goal of the dominance of Islamic law. Violence is only one of many ways to work toward that political goal. Also, if he is a practicing Muslim, he cannot be friends with you, according to the Qur'an. He can pretend to be your friend if it serves the goals of Islam, but if he actually feels affection for you and really considers you a friend, he is doomed to burn in hell according to the Qur'an.

3. That's good (that he's a really great guy)! But the Muslims following the doctrine still need to be stopped, and one very important thing that needs to happen in order to stop them is for non-Muslims to be educated about what is in the Qur'an and the Hadith. Our fellow non-Muslims need to be made aware of the game plan of the enemies dedicated to destroying our way of life. By trying to stop people like me from educating non-Muslims about Islam, you are actually helping Islamic supremacists with their political goals.

4. Maybe this Muslim's apparent goodness is only taqiyya. Another possibility is that he is simply ignorant of what his religion really requires of him. I will tell you what is in the Qur'an, but only if you promise not to tell him. We don't need any more Muslims to awaken to the requirements of their faith. Let him live in benign and peaceful ignorance.

5. He's a Muslim and he's really nice? Good! It's entirely possible he does not follow the whole teachings. However, does he pay his zakat (alms)? Then he is probably contributing to Islamic supremacists who are following the whole teachings (the zakat usually goes to the local mosque, and most mosques in the U.S. are owned and run by dedicated Wahabbis). Does he pray five times a day? Does he fast for a month during Ramadan? Has he read the Qur'an? If he had to choose between Shari'a law and the U.S. Constitution, which would he choose? Do you have any idea?! Or are you simply saying your cousin is married to a Muslim with very good people skills? (Read more about the basic obligations of a Muslim.)

6. The existence of a nice Muslim does not invalidate the statement that Islamic teachings advocate intolerance and violence toward non-Muslims. The fact that you know a Muslim who knows how to get along with non-Muslims does not mean he would not also advocate imposing Shari'a law on non-Muslims, and does not mean he is not actively striving toward that goal. The fact that he is really nice does not mean he repudiates the supremacist nature of Islamic teachings. The existence of a Muslim who happens to be charming does not discredit a single thing I've said.

7. Is your friend an apatheist? If so, I think that's great. But I wasn't talking about people who call themselves Muslims but do not follow the doctrine. I'm talking about the actual Islamic doctrine — what it says in their holy books and what nearly all the Islamic authorities have decreed for the last 1400 years — and that is being followed faithfully by Muslims all over the world. Those who are following the teachings of the Qur'an and who faithfully follow Mohammad's example are a danger to the free world and they must be stopped.

8. Muhammad Salah was a very nice man too. But he was also the leader of the worldwide military wing of Hamas, a brutal terrorist organization! (Read more about this here.)

Give some of these responses a try, and come back here to let us know what happened. Also, please let us know what other questions or statements people make that leave you temporarily tongue-tied.
